Mechanics: The cylinder lockup on this revolver is SOLID, with no play whatsoever when the trigger is depressed. Overall, this revolver rates in about Fine-plus condition. The screw heads range from sharp to lightly tool marked with strong slots. Otherwise, there are only light handling marks. There are a few scattered minor nicks and scratches.

The checkering generally sharp except around the grip screw head. The grips have a few scattered light marks, mostly on the bottom faces, with more notable wear around the grip screw on the left panel. Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered walnut with gold-colored Colt medallions at their tops. The rear sight and the top of the top strap have a matte finish to reduce glare. The rear sight is a flat topped square notched target sight that is pinned into the top strap and adjustable for windage and elevation. Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Patridge style blade pinned into a serrated ramped base fixed to the barrel. The left side of the trigger guard is marked with “VP” in a triangle at the front and a “0” at the back. The crane flat is marked “88430 / M”, and the crane is marked “88430”.
